BSP Consulting is an award-winning Civil and Structural engineering firm operating across the UK. Established in 1999 the team has grown to four offices across the East Midlands.
In response to an increasingly competitive construction industry over the past decade, BSP Consulting introduced project accounting software and has recently worked with Flo10 to further improve access to information.
James Payne, Associate at BSP Consulting explains how their system (Deltek PIM) has been a beneficial step forwards, “We are now starting to have valuable project information in the database and have even secured additional fees through improved record keeping”.
The next objective is to use quality reports to better support decisions and the overall business plan.
Previously building the required reports was time consuming; BSP Consulting had to download and manually manipulate large amounts of data. “We need evidence to base decisions on, particularly as our projects vary in size and type which makes resourcing planning and cost forecasting challenging” describes James.
